Common Baseball Bets?

What are the most common baseball bets? I know it depends on the game and the situation, but I have taken the advice of some cappers on Over/Under bets and have not won one of them. Could just be coincidence, but I don't think I'll ever make those bets again.

This is my first year betting on baseball and have been either going for the underdog or going with the -1.5 spread. Of course that way I will have to bet less to win more.

Just curious on your thoughts.

Sometimes if I can find the home team +1 1/2 at -175 or less, I will give it a shot. I like 1st Five Innings also. If you know a team has great base runners, plays hit and run well, etc. but really doesn't have a great closer, then 1st Five Innings might be a choice. I find Sides easy to hit than Totals in MLB. Just have no luck with Totals. One night the Mets were playing the Nationals. Had an Under 9 1/2 for the game and the score was 4 to 2 going into the ninth inning Mets. Mets get one more across the plate at their bat now its 5 to 2. So I still have two runs to work with with only three outs to play. Nationals somehow get the bases loaded and the dude hit a grand slam. Have no luck with Totals.

Very nice! lmao. I've been here more than once. Buzzer beaters, etc. Back in '93 I think, the Spurs beat the Blazers in Portland in the playoffs when Sean Elliot nailed a 3 pointer with his heels literally hovering over the out of bounds line. I didn't care about the Blazers losing, but that shot put them over my number for the game total!!! Oh the humanity.##) Just one from a bagful of memories.

dogs, because favs in baseball would get you killed with all that juice. and at home, because the home advantage in baseball is pretty present. baseball is a game of streaks, so the best advice is to ride hot teams, and fade cold teams.

Speaking of streaks...I know a guy who uses a three game method.

If a team wins 3 in a row....Ride that team till it loses.

If a team loses 3 in a row....Fade that team till they win.

I say streaks is for sure the way to go. also I avoid run lines especially on home teams because of the fact that they can only cove with a homer in the ninth if they are behind or tied.
